Our Road to Macstock series continues in a conversation with Jill McKlnley, a first-time presenter at the conference.
This MacVoices Live! panel wraps up with the panel’s thoughts on a report that tipping could soon become a thing at Apple Stores. Chuck Joiner, David Ginsburg, Brian Flanigan-Arthurs, Eric Bolden, Web Bixby, Jeff Gamet, and Jim Rea have some strong, and sometimes conflicting, opinions on tipping in general, and in this instance in particular. Then, completely off-topic, Elon Musk’s Boring Company’s approval to expand under Las Vegas and Space X’s share of payload launches concludes the session.
Our latest Road to Macstock conversation is with cognitive neuroscientist and productivity coach Brittany Smith, who will be making her first appearance at the conference. Brittany will be taking a different approach to the topic of “Learn”, and discussing where and how we expend our mental energy to achieve the best results. She gives us a small look at how that thinking integrates with some software tools, as well as providing her thinking on appropriate uses of multitasking.

Kolide ensures only secure devices can access your cloud apps.
In the May 2023 Update, Chuck explains a slight change of appearance to MacVoices that was driven by circumstances both voluntary and involuntary, and a lesson learned. The conclusion of interviews from NAB, the return of “The Road to Macstock”, and the month’s support report round out the Update.

[embed]http://traffic.libsyn.com/maclevelten/MV23160.mp3[/embed]

Show Notes:

Links:

Guests:

Support:

Become a MacVoices Patron on Patreon
http://patreon.com/macvoices

Enjoy this episode?
